New Site Designs

The power of WordPress is exemplified in it’s ability to quickly implement new site designs or themes. I was able to re-design this website using the many editing capabilities in the WordPress Dashboard. I have found, in my own use and in setting up clients with a WordPress static site, that it is an extremely powerful tool in updating and maintaining content and design elementa. Outside of blogging, WordPress can be used as a powerful CMS that can be tweaked to your hearts content. I have seen many sites starting to utilize WP solely as a CMS and I am proud to say that I have used it, successfully, in this way for many projects of my own.

As of late, I have been working on and have completed several new projects. Work is in the final stages of my largest project – www.redwinebuzz.com. Also, I launched a website for B.R.A.I.N. which seeks to fund research and facilities for men, women and children with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury).

Here are some more highlights:

New web site for Susan Ficht for her bible study “A Time to Heal.” We are in the beginning stages of development and design.
New web site and logo for Dr. Roseanne Elling. Dr. Elling is a counselor in Texas seeking to grow her business and brand in couples therapy and counseling.
Other projects are in the beginning stages of development, design and negotiation including an informational web site for authors Sue Rueb and Dr. Todd Clements.

coreythomas design has been hard at work on several sites over the past 6 months. We launched Dr. Todd Clements site, negotiated several new projects and work continues on redwinebuzz.com.

Below are some more highlights:

Several projects that have been on hold are back in the development stage. Cheryl LaMastra, a counselor in Texas, needs an interactive website for her clients to learn more about her and her counseling center. Patients will also be able to schedule appointments on the website using Flash Appointments. Work has resumed and we now have some content!
Maren Angelotti, an up and coming author and counselor, has commissioned me to build her website to promote her counseling practice and new book coming out in January 2009.
Work continues on redwinebuzz.com(development site – feel free to browse). This is a large site with hundreds of pages of content. I am building the site using MODx and it is everything we could have hoped for in a CMS. Watch for the launch of redwinebuzz.com coming soon!
